Game Incubation with the background set of the Nusantara (Archipelago)
Vocational education is a formal school that has the aim of providing vocational knoeledge and skills for its graduates, because vocational graduates are prepared to be ready to work. In 2021, the link and match program between Vocational Education and the industrial world was re-launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) through the Directorate General of Vocational Education (DG DIKSI). This program is not a new program, previously this program had been launched in 1989 by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The link and match program is carried out through Dual System Education and internships, currently the term has changed to Industrial Work Practices or Prakerin.
On that basis, the Digital Nusantara Cultural Foundation initiated a game incubation program set in the archipelago’s culture. This program is expected to prepare vocational graduates to compete in the industrial world. The Digital Archipelago Cultural Foundation launched this Pilot Project in collaboration with SMKN 41. The pilot of this program was the Design of Traditional Archipelago Mini Games. This mini game was created by several groups of students with various skills at SMKN 41. This mini game is expected to be part of the game ecosystem being built by the Digital Nusantara Cultural Foundation, namely the Nagaraja Game. Transformation of knowledge, technology and industrial needs are part of this incubation program.

Furthermore, this Incubation Program will be duplicated to other vocational educations, so that an ecosystem of young game developers will be formed and can meet the needs of the industry.
